Crate & Barrel got $43 per sf for the industrial building at 725 Landwehr Rd., which the manufacturer of plastic model kits acquired with a $7.65-million loan from GE Capital, according to property records.

"It represents one of the largest industrial sale transactions in the northern suburbs in recent years," says Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. president and CEO David R. Kahnweiler.

Chicago-based Imperial Realty Co. bought the Willow Hill Executive Center at 540-50 Frontage Rd. 70% leased. "This desirable property links Imperial's North Shore holdings with our Chicago and Cook County properties along the Edens Expressway," says Imperial Realty president Al Klairmont.

The property, located near the I-294 interchanges at Willow and Lake-Cook roads, includes 64,000 sf of office space on two stories along with 27 feet of clear ceiling height and 26 docks.
