The product, TWR Canadian Outlook, will offer investors insight into Canadian real estate market fundamentals, according to both companies. Torto Wheaton Research is a locally based firm that focuses on market research and investment strategy in the US and Canada while CBRE Canada is a transactional, financial and management services real estate firm.
The product includes coverage of seven Canadian office and industrial markets withsubmarket information and historical data. TWR Canadian Outlook will be available to investors this coming January.
"This service will allow investors of Canadian properties to identify markets with performance characteristics that support their specific investment decisions," notes Ray Torto, principal and managing director of Torto Wheaton Research. He anticipates that the volume of "real-time transactional data collected by CBRE Canada, combined with TWR's forecasts and investment analysis will provide investors of Canadian markets with a very valuable tool."
