The new facility, which will be utilized for the warehousing and distribution of general merchandise, is an expansion of P&V's existing New Jersey facilities in Metuchen, Lakewood and Edison. P&V operates a third-party trucking and warehousing business.
TAT Partnership was represented in the recent acquisition of the 11-acre site by Steve Bussel of the Edison, NJ-based Bussel Realty. The project will be fast-tracked, with GFA anticipating a late spring completion.
The deal also pushes GFA Development, a seven-year-old company headed by Gary Alper, past the one million-sf mark in terms of industrial buildings designed and built.
