The newly acquired property includes four buildings totaling 43,400 sf and a 5,400-sf vacant lot. One tenant, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, will remain while the rest of the property is used for car storage as well as sales.
"Enterprise will stay at this location but will move next door to more convenient facilities in the next few years as renovations are completed," says Inland Real Estate Sales senior broker associate B.J. Taylor, who represented former owner Silverbar Realty as well as Stephen and Carol Napleton along with broker associate Daniel Skehan.
The State of Illinois leased 30,000 sf until moving to Skokie in June. "Renovations will include updating a car lift on the property that was transformed into bathrooms and storage during the lease with the State of Illinois," Taylor adds.
