The building includes approximately 7,000 sf of dropped-ceiling, air-conditioned office-type space that contains electronic equipment for transmitting voice and data communications and about 3,000 sf of warehouse space with a drive-in loading door. The transmission and receiving signal tower serves multiple telecommunications firms, according to Bill Goodwin, SVP in the local office of CB Richard Ellis. Goodwin and Len Redeyoff, a first VP in CBRE's Wayne, PA office, were the sole agents representing Cox in negotiating the sale agreement.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. named CBRE the leasing agent for Building 10, a fully renovated, 47,000-sf office in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Constructed for industrial use in 1903, the building now has modern, column-free spaces ranging from 9,000 sf to 14,000 sf. It also has Keystone Opportunity Zone status, which gives tenants significant tax abatements for 15 years.
In addition to its Center City and Wayne offices, Los Angeles-based CBRE has area offices in Allentown, PA, Marlton, NJ and at Greenville Center in suburban Wilmington, DE.
