Financial details of PwC's long-term lease agreement have not been made public; however, Diamond Property Co. markets space for Lerner in the three other standing office buildings at Tysons II and leases that space for $40 to $41 per sf. Harvey-Cleary Builders is onboard the project as the contractor for the Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates-designed office tower.
When all is said and done, the 13-story 1800 Tysons will feature, in addition to its class A office space, a 160,000-sf ground-level area called the Boulevard Shops that will house a retail segment and a fitness center. "The building offers a quality product and amenity package for our staff, and provides a unique block of space to accommodate the significant growth of the practice," says PwC office managing partner Fernando Murias. "The site is truly a gateway location, with easy access and is a central location." Indeed, the Tysons II development--which is also home to the Ritz-Carlton, and retail destinations the 800,000-sf Tysons Galleria and Tysons Corner--occupies a spacious spot at the intersection of Route 123 and Tysons Boulevard.
