The largest deal involved the 65,658-sf Shaw's Supermarket at 1045 W. Main St. in New Britain, CT, for $13.7 million from DESCO Associates.
Pavilion at King's Grant at 8050 Concord Mills Blvd. in Concord, NC, anchored by a 49,000-sf Toys "R" Us store, cost Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust $8.2 million. The neighborhood shopping center, recently built by Thomas Enterprises Inc., includes an 8,500-sf Olive Garden and a 7,500-sf Red Lobster on ground leases.
The price per sf was highest for the two triple-net-leased Eckerd stores in Oklahoma. A 13,824-sf store at 36th Avenue and Robinson Street in Norman, OK, about 20 miles south of Downtown Oklahoma City, was bought for $5.3 million from Commercial Net Lease Realty Services Inc., the same seller of a 13,813-sf store at 1301 N. Santa Fe in Edmond, OK, 13 miles north of Downtown Oklahoma City. That store cost Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust $3.4 million.
