"Sales have been going really well," says Powers, the former executive director of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority who told GlobeSt.com soon after the units went on the market. "We've already reserved 12 of them," she says.

Architect for the project will be Denver-based Studio Completiva Inc., a Denver-based firm headed by Yong Cho and Catherine Mercer, both graduates of the Yale School of Architecture. Since 1995 they have designed such projects as Capitol Heights Office/apartments, St. Mary Magdalene Church, lofts in the Prospect development in Longmont and the addition to the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Capitol Hill.

General contractor for the project is Palace Construction. During the past 37 years the firm has built such projects as the Balustrade, the Austin Building, Trieste, Trovare and Fire Clay Lofts. Fire Clay is another Urban Ventures project.
