Allan J. Sweet becomes company president, while Philip N. Tague becomes EVP of the REIT as well as chairman of its AMLI Residential Construction subsidiary. The duo had served as co-CEOs of the company, which has a portfolio of nearly 27,000 multifamily units.
"Phil and I sought out Greg and spoke to him about returning," Sweet says. "We convinced Greg that three heads are better than two and that his insights, background and energy will give AMLI one of the strongest and deepest management teams in the business."
