The transaction was arranged on behalf of the buyer by Charles E. Shields, vice president of the Conshohocken, PA-based Beacon Commercial Real Estate. According to Shields, the new owner will continue to operate the site as a self-storage facility.
The site totals just under 8.5 acres, with 2.5 acres currently available for expansion. Plans for an expansion are under consideration, according to Shields, with a total build-out capability of a minimum of 45,000 sf of additional space. The property consists of a total of 437 self-storage units in 10 buildings averaging 4,500 sf each.
