"It's as nice as they come," Jon Harrison with Marcus & Millichap's Tucson office tells GlobeSt.com of the Valle del Oro RV Resort, a 75.7-acre, age-restricted community at 1452 S. Ellsworth Rd. near Interstate 60. Built in 1986, the resort, which features a swimming pool, spa and laundry facilities, was bought in an off-market deal by Cal-Am Properties Inc. of Irvine, CA., the state's largest owner of RV parks, after seller Valle del Oro Investment LP of Mesa contacted Harrison to broker the sale.

"Usually these parks aren't brokered, " says Harrison, adding that deals of this type are generally done by individuals with contacts in the RV industry. He brokered terms for the seller and Steve Hester of Cal-Am Properties handled negotiations for the buyer.
