The signing was arranged for the tenant by brokers from CB Richard Ellis' New Jersey office, including first vice presidents Bill Waxman and Kevin Welsh, senior associate Nick Nitti and associate Carrie Brown. The transaction followed a referral from CBRE's office in Milwaukee, where CHR Hansen maintains its North American headquarters. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CHR Hansen will continue to use the facility for its research and development, manufacturing and distribution operations. The company, which makes a variety of flavors and sweeteners, uses the location to serve the food, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.
