It was originally known as the Navajo Hotel and is on the National Historic Registry. The four-story, Victorian-styled structure towers over neighboring buildings.
It was initially built as a cottage and went through several renovations. During the 1980s, a group bought the building and converted it from a hotel to a senior living community and a restaurant.
Bob DeHerra, a member of the family that bought the property, plans to renovate it with such things as new carpeting, painting and upgrading the community room. It was sold by Craig Stack and Steve Rahe of Denver's CB Richard Ellis office.
