The two speakers will describe the market potential for TODs in six regions, including the Denver metro area. They also plan to review details contained within the study's recently published book, "The New Transit Town: Best Practices in Transit-Oriented Development."

In the Denver area, Englewood's City Center, a first ring city southwest of Denver, is considered a model for including a light rail stop, bus service, retail, government office space and residential living. If Colorado voters in November pass the $4.7 billion FasTracks transportation tax increase, there will be about 90 transit stops in the metro area.

Thursday's breakfast will kick off an education series hosted by the local chapter of the ULI focusing on economic development opportunities that will evolve around metro-area corridors.
