The Denver property is a 109-door cross-dock distribution facility situated on 18.61 acres and has been closed to operations since September 3, 2002, when the 74-year-old company filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11. Since then CF has been liquidating the assets of the corporation under the orders of the bankruptcy court.

A starting price of $2.15 million has been set for the CF facility. To date, 175 CF properties throughout the US have been sold for more than $305 million.
