Strasburger & Price will move into 2801 Network Blvd. at Hall Office Park in Frisco in early second quarter, getting first-generation space with the high-end office finish-out that goes along with a prestigious law firm's address, says Donald Braun, president of Hall Financial Group. He tells GlobeSt.com that the class A lease was at the bargaining table about six months while the law firm's partners weighed the play for their first suburban office. The firm headquarters in the Bank of America Plaza in downtown Dallas and has offices in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Washington, DC and Mexico City.

"They felt a location at Hall Office Park offered them, from their perspective, the best location to expand in Far North Dallas," Braun says, adding the asking rate was not foremost on the partners' minds but rather an upscale address with proximity to existing Collin County clients and the new ones that they plan to acquire in one of the state's leading growth corridors. The park's quoted rates are $22.50 per sf to $23.50 per sf plus electric.

Attorney Paul Myers was named partner-in-charge of an office being set up for 15 to 18 lawyers. The 65-year-old law firm picked the largest office structure, with Fujitsu Transaction Solutions' headquarters as the lead tenant, in an eight-building park that's 80% leased. The new office will take up half of the sixth floor in the 200,000-sf, eight-story building with two lakes and a sculpture garden leading to the threshold.

Hall Financial Group had leasing director, Buddy Langston, handling negotiations for a flat-rate lease with built-in room to grow. Randy Cooper, Jeff Eiting and Jay Annand, all with CB Richard Ellis Inc. in Dallas, represented the law firm.
