And the Holzminden, Germany-based company has given the assignment to move the space to Real Estate Strategies Corp. of Kenilworth, NJ. The property is being offered for sale in total or in four combinations of buildings, according to Andrew Zezas, president of RealStrat.

"It offers buyers flexibility for matching buildings with business requirements," adds Matthew Kirby, vice president of RealStrat. "Each of the four building groups contains office, laboratory, warehousing and shipping facilities."

RealStrat is targeting a variety of users, ranging from research, assembly, laboratory, medical and cosmetics applications, to light manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. "Of course, there is an infrastructure in place that would appeal to fragrance and flavor companies interested in establishing operations in the shortest possible timeframe," Kirby points out.

"While the campus has some beautifully built space and many specialized facilities, their basic design and simplicity should make them attractive for almost any desired use," Zezas adds.

Despite shedding the space here, Symrise still maintains New Jersey facilities in Teterboro and Branchburg. The company also has operations in South Carolina and Illinois.
