Finkelstein, a 20-year veteran of real estate law, succeeds Dennis Ellman, who recently stepped down from the chairmanship of the real estate department and continues to sit on the firm's management committee. Ellman says his successor brings enormous energy and a clear vision for the continued growth of our real estate practice.

Finkelstein has represented developers, lenders, investors and property owners on a wide variety of matters including development, financing and joint ventures, leasing and sales. He has particular expertise in community redevelopment projects and in the development and repositioning of shopping centers. We are very excited to have Henry lead our Department. Among his affiliations are memberships in the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute, where he is active in the Public/Private Partnership Council.

Greenberg Glusker has maintained a real estate law practice for more than 40 years. The firm's transactional attorneys and litigators represent clients on complex real estate matters involving construction, development, environmental, leasing and sales, finance, land use and tax. The firm's clients include high net worth individuals, partnerships, government agencies and other entities involved in the development, financing and/or ownership of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use, properties, hotels, sports facilities and golf courses.
