Sun Health Orthopedics inked the deal with building owner, Meeker Mortgage Corp., to fill an office vacated about 90 days ago by a pharmacy in the Meeker Medical/Dental Building, Dev Gupta with the Phoenix office for Equis Corp. tells GlobeSt.com. Gupta says garden-style building at 13925 Meeker Blvd. was selected by the Harrisburg medical firm because it was near a local hospital and offered functional space at rental rates of about $18 per sf. The 11,209-sf, single-story, class B property is occupied by several small medical users.
Gupta, along with Steven Ashhurst, also with Equis, handled the transaction for the tenant. The building owner was represented by Andy Jaffe with Commercial Properties in Tempe.
