Air Products and Chemicals Inc., will use the space to clean wafer chips for the computer industry. The firm signed on for the space, formerly rented to Environ Clean Technologies, another wafer cleaning firm, under a lease worth nearly $400,000 to the building owner, Rreef/Cabot Industrial Venture, David Carder with the Phoenix team for CB Richard Ellis Inc. tells GlobeSt.com.

Carder says the new tenant opted to lease at 3844 E. University Dr. near 40th Street and University Drive because the space was already in use for a similar operation. The firm will share a building with a tenant roster that includes the headquarters of Elizabeth Arden Salons, Carrier Air Conditioning, G-Tech and Westcor General Contracting. Carder represented the property owner in the negotiations while the tenant was represented by John Wyss with Dallas-based Staubach Co.'s Phoenix office.
