Two small parking lots to the west of LS&A have been closed and will be used as a staging site for the project. The lots include a metered one for visitors with about 15 spaces and an even smaller lot used for university vehicles. The construction crews will park farther from campus and use a shuttle to get to the site.
Offices that were housed in LS&A have been scattered around campus, with some moved to existing buildings and others in rented space. Many of the offices will return in the summer of 2006, while other offices, including radio station WUOM and the Department of Anthropology, will remain in their new homes.
