Benjamin Moore signed a long-term lease for first-generation shell space at 1100 Chase Rd., a 258,448-sf building with three other tenants. The paint company owns a manufacturing site at 700 W. Kearney St., about five miles to the northwest, but the lease was the least costly and more immediate expansion plan, Preston Herold with Hillwood Investment Properties tells GlobeSt.com.

Not only is Skyline 4 close to the manufacturing location, but it has "enough available space to accommodate future growth," Wayne McElyea, Benjamin Moore's logistics manager, said in a press release. Benjamin Moore & Co., founded in 1883, is based in Montvale, NJ.

Besides Herold, Hillwood's team included Larry Leon and Ned Washburn, both with the Dallas office of CB Richard Ellis Inc. Benjamin Moore's team from Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. consisted of Seth Kelly, Ann Huntington and Ryan Keiser.
