The tribe, which has land along Route 87 outside Fountain Hills, already has begun construction on a $3.2-million, 19-acre RV park. The project, set to open later this year, includes a clubhouse, swimming pool and spa. The 250-room hotel and conference center, which will be within walking distance of the casino, is expected to break ground later this month. A price on that construction has not yet been finalized.

The tribe also is planning to expand its We-Ko-Pa Golf Club by 18 holes although no timetable on that expansion has been set. Michele Crank, tribal spokeswoman, says there are no plans to expand the casino.
