The loan was arranged on behalf of the owner by Tom Didio, senior managing director in the Edison, NJ office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler. Aetna, one of HFF's correspondent lenders, provided the fixed-rate loan. The borrower is a partnership of several members of the Marino family, which has developed more than one million sf of retail and industrial buildings in New Jersey.
Marina Plaza I is a two-story, 57,000-sf building on 2.2 acres at 65-75 Kingsland Ave. here. Plaza II, meanwhile is a two-story, 70,000-sf building situated on 3.6 acres at 125-127 Kingsland Ave. Both properties are near this city's downtown and about 12 miles from Manhattan.
