The site is across from the Civic Center Park. Mayor John Hickenlooper asked the DNA for a 25-foot setback along Colfax, and a 10-foot setback near the Pioneer Monument statute of Kit Carson.
All of the improvements will cost more than $3 million. The city would refund $250,000 each year from 2007 to 2009 under the proposal, which still needs City Council's approval. The finance committee for the council will discuss the matter today.
