The single-story, 15,300-sf facility, designed by Tucson-based BMG Architecture and Planning and built by Wespac Construction Inc. of Phoenix, is set to open in September. The center contains an aerobic dance studio, weight-room, massage treatment rooms, pool, spas and six tennis courts, Sean Suzuki, Wespac's project manager, tells GlobeSt.com. He says the last six months have brought completions of the project's 400-sf gatehouse and 2,200-sf golf course maintenance building at the Deer Valley Road site just north of Bell Road. A 3,100-sf golf cart barn will deliver in March and a golf clubhouse and pro show are scheduled to break ground later this month followed by the construction of a social center in the spring 2005.
