Von Hanson's Meat, a Minnesota chain, made its entrance into Arizona with the seven-year lease of 4,800 sf at Alma School Village. A second, three-year lease of 1,200 sf by Jeep Ney Asian Bistro helped fill the 2390 Alma School Rd. plaza to capacity.
"We had a rash of vacancies hit us about a year ago but we managed to lease them up in a couple months," Daniel Pollack with Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments tells GlobeSt.com. He says both stores, which rent for about $12 per sf triple net, were vacant about six months.
Pollack represented the building owner, Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments, in finalizing the lease agreement with Von Hanson's Meat while Patrick Cassidy represented the owner in the Jeep Ney transaction. Both tenants were self-represented in the negotiations.
