Stephen Perna, SVP of locally based Arden Real Estate Services, represented the owner, Seven Penn Partners, a Pennsylvania real estate partnership, in both transactions. Thomas D. Kramer, principal in the local office of GVA Smith Mack represented Liberty. The law firm negotiated in house.

The Caesar, Rivise firm moved into the 21-story, 286,400-sf building in 1995, and the renewal continues their presence there "through the later years of this decade," according to Perna. Liberty's original lease dates back to 1996.

The expanded renewals follow a re-up earlier this month by Sweden-based Alfa Laval Biokinetics for 28,660 sf at Seven Penn. The building is located at 1635 Market St. It was built in 1966 and modernized in 1989.
