The transaction was arranged on behalf of the buyer by sales associate Allan Cesare of Century 21 Moretti Realty of South Plainfield, NJ. The seller, 30 Freneau Associates, was represented by Colton Brown, associate director of GVA Williams of New Jersey, Parsippany. The deal "is expected to close within the next 30 days," according to Brown.
The building has been fully occupied by Maser Consulting, which is relocating its headquarters to a 33,000-sf space at One River Center, Building 2, in Middletown, NJ. The engineering firm's new lease was also arranged by GVA Williams (see earlier story).
The buyer will be moving its own headquarters into its new facility from nearby Morganville, NJ. New Jersey Home Funding will occupy the first floor, or approximately 6,500 sf, and will make the rest of the building available for lease later this spring.
