Sun-Yin is scheduled to move into its new headquarters in March, says Chris Migliori of the Anaheim office of GVA Daum. Migliori and Shan Lee of the Industry office of GVA Daum represented Stroud's Building LLC, the seller, with Lee also representing Sun-Yin.

The new facility, formerly occupied by Stroud's furniture stores, sits on nearly eight acres within "The Plantation" business park. The importer will employ approximately 30 workers at the site, which will replace its former headquarters in Pomona.

Lee says Sun-Yin, based in Shanghai, China, will utilize its near-new building for administrative, showroom, sales and area distribution center activities. He notes that the building features 41,858 sf of office space.

The new headquarters in Industry is well positioned for distribution activities, note the GVA Daum brokers, who point out that it is strategically located close to the 57, 60 and 10 freeways. The facility is a free-standing, concrete tilt-up structure that features elevator service in the two-story office portion, 30-foot minimum clear height, 28 dock high loading positions, ESFR-ready sprinkler system, fully gated concrete truck yard, and on-site parking for 227 cars.
