Neurosurgeon Group Signs 22,286-SF Lease in White Plains

Neurosurgeons of New York, Neurology Group of Westchester and Doctors Taddonio & Seshan each leased space on the third floor of 244 Westchester Ave. Each practice expanded its space requirements from previous locations. Neurosurgeons of New York will relocate from 222 Westchester Ave. in White Plains and will occupy 10,925 sf; Neurology Group of Westchester will move their operations from 30 Davis Ave. in White Plains to occupy 5,777 sf; and Doctors Taddonio & Seshan will shift personnel from 19 Bradhurst Ave. in Hawthorne to occupy 5,584 sf.

Glenn P. Walsh, senior director, of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building owner, RPW Group of White Plains, in the lease transactions. "The negotiation of the neurosurgeons' lease at 244 Westchester Ave. was a win-win situation for both the tenants and the landlord," Walsh says. "The tenants were able to meet their space requirements and ownership was able to secure a valuable tenant for the long-term."

The 244 Westchester Ave. is a four-story building that totals 85,000 sf. Existing tenants in the building include an orthopedic and oncology practice. The property is located next to a 100,000-sf medical complex, Harrison Court, which is also owned by RPW Group. RPW has rights to build an additional 85,000-sf building at that site.
