The center, which was constructed in 1977, was vacant at the time the deal closed, according to Anthony Vita, president of Vita & Vita Realty Corp. The buyer, most of whose portfolio is in the retail category, has launched a major renovation of the asset.
At the same time, the Vita & Vita affiliate has gotten lease commitments totaling 22,000 sf from three new tenants. The signees are the Chadler Group, an insurance broker; IPP; and Market Vision, a consulting firm.
