The real estate services firm chose Century City for its new office because Century City has become its own epicenter of office building activity, says Richard Schnell, SVP at Colliers. Schnell, SVP Michael Weiner, and associates Jennifer Haeg and Suzanne Lee are scheduled to make the move to the new office on April 1. Schnell and Weiner are the Colliers team that recently represented Northrop Grumman in renewing and expanding its lease with the California State Teachers' Retirement System in 200,000 sf of space.
Century City is where one of the biggest leases in recent memory was signed, the 15-year, $150 million commitment for 180,000 sf by Beverly Hills-based Creative Artists Agency. The talent agency will move into a new 790,000-sf office and retail development that Trammell Crow is building at 2000 Avenue of the Stars.
