Although manufactured housing communities and parking garages will be the first asset classes to be targeted, Green Courte Partners says it may pursue other niche sectors. "We believe that focused niche strategies, which include partnering with strong local operators, will generate superior risk-adjusted long-term returns," Rowe says.
Manufactured housing is a familiar niche to Rowe. He also was co-chairman and chief executive officer of Manufactured Home Communities. Meanwhile, managing director and chief financial officer Robert S. Duncan oversaw the books at InterPark before joining Green Courte Partners.
Former investment banker James R. Goldman is managing director and chief investment officer of Green Courte Partners while Piper Rudnick LLP senior partner Kelly L. Stonebraker serves as general counsel in addition to managing director.
