Cimarex was formed by a merger of Key Production and the oil and gas assets of Helmerich & Payne Inc.
The merger, combined with internal growth, created the need for larger reception and conference areas, "right sizing" of offices, and overall expansion.
The transaction was handled by Jamie Gard and Nathan Johnson of the Frederick Ross Co.
With a credit worthy company such as Cimarex, and the abundance of lower quality alternatives, Ross says its brokers were able to secure future expansion options for Cimarex, as well as reducing its leasing costs.
