In the Whittier deal, Jerry Giglio and Chris Giglio of the Anaheim office of Grubb & Ellis represented the buyer and the seller of Virginia Terrace, which consists of four two-story, wood frame stucco buildings at 10444 Virginia Ave. The asset was sold by the Emigh Family Trust of Irving, TX and was 100% occupied at the time of sale.
In the Los Angeles transaction, Bravo Apartments LP bought a one-building, 29-unit complex at 904 Hoover St., with Kanna Sunkara of Sperry Van Ness representing the buyer and Soung Lee of California Mutual Realty representing the seller, the Ahn Family Trust.
Built in 1928, the complex comprises 16 single units, four bachelor suites, five one-bedroom, one-baths, two two-bedroom, one-baths, and two non-conforming single units with rents ranging from $352 to $656.
