In the Van Nuys transaction, Clear Sky bought its new facility at 16623 Saticoy St. from a private investor and will relocate from elsewhere in Van Nuys. Chip Wright, Barbara Emmons and Katharine Laquer of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller, with the buyer represented by George Stavaris and Darren Cline of Colliers Seeley International. The 27,900-sf building sits on 2.4 acres of land adjacent to the new Van Nuys Airport Business Park. The property has 5,000 sf of office space and 105 parking spaces.
In the Ojai deal, Trexon Investments paid $2 million for a two-building, 33,447-sf complex at 201 Bryant St., according to Mark Haworth of Sperry Van Ness, who represented both the buyer and the seller, a private investor based in Santa Barbara. Ojai-based Trexton was one of a number of prospective buyers that expressed interest in the property, notes Haworth. Built in 1981, the concrete tilt-up complex sits on nearly two acres of land.
