Daman Express takes about 25% of the 199,716-sf warehouse and distribution building, constructed in 1990. It is located less than a mile west of O'Hare International Airport.
"Staying close to the airport was the key to the deal," says Grubb & Ellis associate Matt Mulvihill, who represented Daman Express with senior vice president Brian Carroll. "This facility gives them more room to accommodate inbound and outbound shipping."
The building in the Elk Grove Industrial Park is owned by Itasca-based Hamilton Partners, which was represented by George Arnold. It includes 3,000 sf of office space.
