The four-story building will include three one-bedroom units, 19 two-bedroom units, two three-bedroom units and four three-bedroom town-homes, ranging from 660 sf to 1,324 sf.
It also will have 6,000 sf of retail space on the first floor on the east side facing Santa Fe Drive and 6,000 sf of office space on the second floor.
On the east side, facing Santa Fe Drive, thee will be two-story underground parking for residents.
There will be enclosed ground level parking for customers of the retail and office spaces. A recreation area will be built in the middle of the second floor opening up to the sky and available for use by all the residential tenants; and art work.
The project is being funded by a grant from the federal government (Economic Development Administration of the Department of Commerce), a loan from the City and County of Denver; a loan from Stearns Bank, and tax credits from the National Development Council.
The owner's representative is Bill Mead of Mead & Associates and the designer is Dulaney Architecture of Denver. Key Construction is the general contractor and anticipates it to be completed in December.
