The buyer, Milestone Realty, was represented by Aaron Mittleman, sales associate with Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Morris Plains, NJ. According to Mittleman, "the new owner purchased the building as an investment property and plans to continue leasing out the space." The seller, Pleasant Valley Way LP, was represented in the transaction by Hal Messer of NAI James E. Hanson Inc., of Hackensack, NJ.

The West Orange property is one of several sales completed by Mittleman recently. Among the others was a 13,500-sf office building in Montclair, NJ, where he repped the seller, Gates Holding Co. The asset traded for $1.8 million.

And he repped the buyer, an import company, in the acquisition of a 5,000-sf light industrial building in Roselle, NJ. Weichert Commercial SVP David Fisher and sales associate Josef Kasner spoke for the seller in the latter transaction.
