The construction company, whose current projects include first work on the first residential tower in Lakeshore East, a high school in the Little Village neighborhood and rebuilding Illinois Tollway oases, is building a 500-foot long reduced scale replica of a ship within a 171,000-sf building. Work is expected to begin in July, with completion scheduled for February 2007.
McHugh Construction Co. is no stranger to military work, including projects here. It has built the Freedom Hall physical training facility as well as living quarters.
