In Union County, the two properties that changed hands were both in the city of Elizabeth--the 20-unit 311 Chilton St., a garden complex built back in the 1960s, and the four-story, 24-unit 415 Westminster Ave. Sweetwood sold the latter property for the second time, with the sellers deciding to move the building "because of a new tax affecting individual partners, and to realize a large appreciation on their original investment."
In Hudson County, meanwhile, Sweetwood repped both the seller and the buyer of the 15-unit, four-story building at 2677 Kennedy Blvd. in Jersey City. And two buildings were sold in Essex County, the 34-unit Vermont Gardens at 357 Vermont Ave. in Irvington, and the 34-unit 32 Elmwood Ave., also in Irvington.
