Mitchell E. Hersh, president and chief executive officer of the Cranford, NJ-based REIT, notes State Farm already is a tenant at three of its Northeast US properties.

"This lease is also a demonstration of Mack-Cali's commitment to building long-term relationships with high-quality tenants," Hersh says.

John Fairbairn and Rick Giaratano of Fairbairn Commercial, Inc. represented State Farm while Nathan Johnson and Keith Krombach of the Frederick Ross Co. represented Mack-Cali.

Mack-Cali owns or has interests in 265 properties, primarily office and office/flex buildings located in the Northeast, totaling approximately 28.9 million sf.
