David Mosseri, senior vice president at Bussel Realty Corp., also based here, represented Gannet Warehousing in the transaction. Heller Industrial Parks, the locally based owner of the complex, was represented in-house. The Gannet lease carries a five-year term with two five-year options, according to Mosseri.
Gannet Warehousing will be occupying an entire building within a new, three-building, 1.3-million-sf project within Heller Industrial Park. The latter currently stands at a total of more than eight million sf of space, and is primarily warehousing and distribution oriented.
In the other transaction, JMD was represented in the transaction by Lou Belfer and Mindy Lissner of CB Richard Ellis' Central New Jersey office. Heller was represented in-house. Terms of the signing were not disclosed. "The company required space for its importing and exporting needs, and 90 Distribution Blvd. fit this requirement," Belfer says.
JMD All-Star is based in Maspeth, NY. The company's import and export activities focus on a wide range of products, including toys, plastic products, ceramics, tools and hardware and photo frames.
