The deal for the professional/medical office building, located on Route 28 in Fair Lawn and currently fully leased, was put together by G-H vice president Seth Pollack and managing director Robert Ploshnick. Financing for the purchase involved a new first mortgage over cash. The seller and the buyer, who were not identified, were represented by attorneys Howard Trinker of Springfield, NJ and Anthony Pantano of the Paramus, NJ firm of Nowell, Amoroso, Klein & Bierman respectively.
Pollack also teamed up with the late G-H EVP Mel Alperstein to sell the 104,000-sf shopping center on Route 35 in Hazlet in Monmouth County on behalf of the unidentified seller. The buyer, who was similarly not identified, financed the sale with cash over an existing first mortgage, which he assumed.
The shopping center, currently 100% leased, is anchored by Drug Fair, Toys 'R' Us, Mandee and a freestanding branch of the Provident Savings Bank.
