The facility will produce the company's tofu products for distribution along the entire East Coast, according to company officials. The Garden Grove, CA-based company is the North American division of the Japan-based House Foods Corp. The 10-acre site, located just off I-287, was selected because of its proximity to the company's East Coast headquarters office in New York City, say officials.

The site itself is within a larger, 180 tract that Hiller plans to build out with up to 1,000 residential units, mostly active adult.Ken Lundberg and Steve Leitner of NAI James E. Hanson Inc. sold the 10-acre site to House Foods America Inc. of Garden Grove CA. The seller was Anatol Hiller and the site will be developed by Shimizu America Corp.
