For one, SES Americom, a provider of satellite services that operates 16 orbital spacecraft, has taken an additional 19,000 sf at 4 Research Way within the park, adding to the 110,000 sf the company already occupies. SES Americom will now occupy the entire building at 4 Research Way.

The 19,000 sf at 4 Research Way was freed up when its occupant, NeoStrata, signed an expansion deal for 32,000 sf at 307 College Road East. The research-based skin care and dermatological products company had already occupied 10,000 sf of lab space at 307 College Road East, and the signing will combine the company's split operations at the one location.

"This is an example of the advantages of a multi-building park," says Vincent Marano, COO of National Business Parks, who with leasing director Tom Stange negotiated the deals. "Both SES Americom and NeoStrata are long-time tenants who have recently outgrown their present offices here."

And College Park itself is in the process of getting bigger. A new five-building, 345,000-sf campus, College Park II, is being developed on a build-to-suit basis adjacent to the existing park. Other tenants at the existing park include Panasonic, FMC Corp., Hitachi, Orchid Biosciences, Bracco Research and Bloomberg LP.
