The building is a single story data center that houses ABB Inc.'s corporate hub for information technology, as well as backup systems for the company's campus on Day Hill Road in Windsor, CBRE officials report. The building is situated on property that abuts I-91 along the Day Hill Road corridor. Kridj Realty's ownership consists of principals of Nutmeg Management Co. of Hartford. Tom Hulk, manager of Nutmeg Management, says that Nutmeg will handle the asset management of the 100 Lamberton Rd. property once it is sold.
John McCormick and Pat Mulready of CB Richard Ellis were the exclusive investment advisors to Pacific Western Realty, a Virginia-based private equity investment firm. CBRE also procured the buyer for the property. The sale marks the sixth property disposition by Pacific Western in central Connecticut since 2000, CB Richard Ellis officials say.
Earlier this year, an affiliate of Nutmeg Management purchased the former Fleet Bank operations center, a 197,000-sf building at 150 Windsor St. in downtown Hartford. CBRE brokered that transaction as well.
