Gerber brings an extensive background as a director of public companies and experience in the real estate industry. Waltham, MA-based Epoch is a privately held owner and operator of assisted living and long-term care facilities in nine states. Prior to joining Epoch, Gerber was president and CEO of the Berkshire Group, president and CEO and director of Berkshire Realty Co., chairman of Berkshire Mortgage Finance Co., director of Cunningham Graphics International, and a director and member of the executive committee of Harborside Healthcare.
In a separate action, Kramont shareholders ratified BDO Seidman LLP as the trust's independent public accountants for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2004. Louis P. Meshon Sr. is chairman and CEO of Kramont.
