Born in Proszowice, Poland, he was interned in Auschwitz and a succession of other camps as a teenager. He arrived in the US in 1948 and launched a real estate firm, Bukiet Building and Management Co., based here. Over the years, his company has developed thousands of residential units, as well as office buildings, apartment complexes and shopping centers.
Besides his development activities, he has been a frequent commentator on New Jersey real estate for both CNBC and MSNBC. He was also one of the founders of the American Holocaust Museum.
